TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction located in East Java, Indonesia. The name "Tumpak Sewu" means "a thousand waterfalls" in Javanese, and the waterfall is known for its tiered cascades that resemble a curtain of water.
The waterfall is situated in the foothills of Mount Semeru, the highest mountain on the island of Java, and it is part of the Lumajang Regency. To reach the waterfall, visitors need to trek down a steep and rugged trail that winds through a lush jungle landscape. Along the way, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside and hear the sound of the waterfall getting louder as they get closer.
Once visitors reach the base of the waterfall, they are rewarded with an impressive sight of the cascading water and mist that fills the air. The waterfall is approximately 120 meters high and consists of multiple tiers, which make it appear as if there are many waterfalls cascading down the rocky cliff face. Visitors can also take a refreshing swim in the cool pool of water at the base of the falls.
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers, and it offers a unique and memorable experience for those who venture to visit it.
